Process automation for growing businesses
Paper process ⊃ digital process.
ErgoLabs helps small and mid-sized businesses trade filing cabinets and inbox threads for automated workflows — starting with the paperwork, without a ground-up rebuild of how the business runs.

One invoice, start to finish

A PDF lands in a watched inbox or folder, n8n triggers an OCR pass over it, and the text gets mapped to a set of fields you define once per document type — invoice number, vendor, totals, due date, whatever the business actually needs downstream.
No re-typing
The fields on the left are read straight off the PDF, not copied by hand into a spreadsheet.
Format is yours
The output shape is configurable per document type — invoices, purchase orders, intake forms.
Inspectable by design
Because it's built on n8n, every step of this pipeline is a workflow your own team can open and edit.
About ErgoLabs
Why we exist
A note on the name: ergo — therefore — and ⊃, the sign for “implies.” We think about automation the same way: name the actual chain of cause and effect in a process, then build exactly that.
Most small and mid-sized businesses don’t run on paper because it’s efficient — they run on paper because nobody’s had the time to fix it. Invoices get scanned and re-typed by hand. Approvals happen over email threads nobody can find again. The business grows, but the process holding it together doesn’t.
ErgoLabs is a small automation studio built around one habit: if this document arrives, then this data gets captured; if this task finishes, then this person is responsible for the next one. We automate that chain, not the whole business at once — and we build on tools like n8n rather than locking anyone into a platform they can’t run themselves.
We work with a small number of businesses at a time, directly on the paperwork and handoffs actually slowing them down — not on a generic “digital transformation” roadmap.
Assess
Map the real paper trail — which documents, which handoffs, where responsibility quietly gets lost.
Automate
Build a working pipeline for the highest-friction step first, usually document intake and data capture.
Hand off
Leave the team with something they can run and adjust themselves, on infrastructure they control.
What we're building
Automation that fits the business, not a generic template.
Growing businesses don't need to rebuild how they operate to go digital — they need whichever process is actually slowing them down automated, in a way that fits how the business runs today.
Document Digitization
A working pipeline that takes a PDF in, reads the text on it, and turns it into structured data ready for the tools you already use — invoices, forms, contracts, whatever a business currently re-types by hand.
No manual re-typing — the extracted fields feed straight into the tools you already use.
Built Around Your Process
Not every bottleneck looks like an invoice. If there’s a manual task slowing your team down — data entry, approvals, reporting, anything repetitive — you can ask us to scope and build the automation for it, sized to how your business actually runs and ready to grow with it.
Have a process that’s outgrown paper?
Tell us what’s still done by hand — we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth automating first.
